HELLO PARTY PEOPLE
long time no talk. just started lurking atlantic-pacific.blogspot.com and got re-inspired to give jaclyn something to read in south korea. IT'S PAYDAY FOR ME! all thoughts of drinking have temporarily turned materialistic.
see examples:
ohh pendleton for opening ceremony. so hipster yet so clutch. and i feel like capes are going to be about as big as capes get for winter
and this classic pamela love ring. so halloweinie. i pamela love it. (shoot me)
homegirl/ resident shoe addict j. tran has these in black (right?) but i kind of like these nasty battered ones better... i can't have anything too nice, i don't know how to take care of it. julie, on the other hand (foot?), keeps the cardboard inserts to prop up her knee-high boots when she's not wearing them
oh boy. these are the one thing i'm posting that i might actually sack up and buy. karen walker kills it with the sunglasses. (oh p.s. is it cooler to call them sunnies? i feel like i can't do that because i'm not british but rachael zoe does it... which might be the ultimate reason NOT to do it)
JEREMY SCOTT I LOVE YOU. these are too ridiculous for words
wait i'm buying these too... for my punk rock sister. because i got wore her other ones and tried to take them off without untying them and ripped them (oops). luckily she does not read this (and is very forgiving), so she will be surprised when santa delivers these butch shoes
this is my dream turkey day outfit. this little vena cava number, black tights, my (soon-t0-be-purchased) leopard coat (propriety be damned julie), and the new hair bow a early 80's madonna left in my jacket pocket by accident (score!!! drunk dietz= free goodies) means i'll be ready to throw down auntie sandy's chocolate torte with all belly rolls drape-ily hidden
happy fall babies. what are you thankful for? excited about? for me they're one and the same: pumpkin spice lattes, a 6-hr plane ride to massachusetts next to my sister, physicist and part time comedian, and of course, the girls coming home for hanukah/ christmas/ bourbon and candy cane lane sessions
xoxo
