sequined sweatpants.

i just don't know what to do with these glorious and comfy trousers. although i do love the harem trend (i'd insert mc hammer joke here but i think i was in the womb during his time), i know i'd be taking shit from all my guy friends ever if i were to purchase a pair. furthermore i'm not even sure they're that cool. soo peruse these shiny babies and ponder how awesome the walk of shame would be in sparkly sweats.

btw just rewatched "the parent trap" while babysitting yesterday... she is took frickin cute in that shit and her british accent is spot on. no amount of cocaine abuse can ruin the magic of that film.

this would have been one of two in a series of sequined apparel but our amigo wasn't so stoked on us snapping pictures of his goods. he redeemed himself by tracking down amigo numero dos so celina could grab some moccasins from his stash. we would have stolen them but apparently there's a heavy bond between flea market sellers, and our karma has already taken enough of a beating

this monday is the summer solstice. the longest day of the year which means, yes, more time for watermelon and cold beers at the beach and making out and peach season. or more time to crossdress and act like a rockstar.

anyway here are a few things i'll be thinking about for the summer of 2010...

1. travel. i'm trying to get to vietnam, the grand canyon, italy, connecticut, and god knows where else along the way

2. catching up on movies i know i need to see... the list so far is grey gardens, lolita, a very long engagement, easy rider, out of africa.... any more suggestions? please?!

3. camping. in style.

4. giving my ipod a much-needed revamp, and trying to manage tickets to outside lands in golden gate park. their tagline is "music. food. wine. art." how could i not be down?
